Mississippi officials discourage usage of CBD services and products

State law and health enforcement officials in Mississippi are warning the general public about the application of CBD services and products.

JACKSON, Skip. (WTVA) – State health insurance and police force officials in Mississippi are warning the general public about the usage CBD services and products.

Within a Wednesday press meeting, officials with all the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (DPS), the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN) while the Mississippi state dept. of wellness (MSDH) discouraged the application of CBD services and products.

Cannabidiol (CBD) hails from the cannabis plant and has now been found in different ways, such as the remedy for discomfort.

“We do not know just what components or quantities have been in these items and without the right labeling, that you do not know very well what you might be eating and that’s dangerous,” Commissioner of Public protection Marshall Fisher stated.

MBN Director John Dowdy stated state evaluating of CBD products purchased in the state revealed that lots of CBD services and products are mislabeled, could be harmful and perhaps unlawful. Continue reading
